Join us and members of the 2024 University of Michigan Football Team for Light Up St. Ignace, a powerful initiative to light the way for change in support of Michigan’s youth.

Light Up St. Ignace features three unforgettable experiences with the University of Michigan players — Will Johnson, Donovan Edwards, Mason Graham, Colston Loveland, Alex Orji, Jaishawn Barham, Derrick Moore and Kenneth Grant — plus, celebrity guests, and musicians, coming together in support of a brighter tomorrow.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to donate over 5,000 pairs of socks and shoes —essential footwear — to Detroit’s public schools, making an impact on the lives of students. Detroit’s 106 public schools serve over 50,000 students, with nearly 60% facing economic hardship. By bringing sports, arts, and entertainment together for a day of giving, and through our partnership with LA Gear, we can Light Up St. Ignace, unite communities, and make a meaningful difference.

LIGHT UP PARTY

Join us for an outdoor light-up experience at the Little Bear Arena with FREE admission when you wear your LA Gear light-up or glow sneakers or provide proof of your LA Gear shoe donation. Enjoy an evening with members of the 2024 University of Michigan Football Team, celebrity guests, and musicians. Wear your best light-up attire, indulge in great food, and music, and support Detroit’s students.
